The present company SIEMAG TECBERG is an offspring of the division Mining Logistic Systems of SIEMAG GmbH, and can therefore look back on more than a century of continuous presence on the market. The origins of the company as a supplier to the mining industry go back to the year 1871.

Since August 2007, SIEMAG TECBERG has been an independent company and a leading specialist in mine hoisting technology and infrastructure.
